The first Arka Fashion Week took place on 26-28 Oct, 2024. It is a bi-annual fashion week with the intention of democratizing fashion. Bringing you the best of Bengal with a focus on youth, experimentalism, and fusion fashion. Stay tuned for the SS24 edition!

Commitment: Arka sources responsibly with 100% traceability. Every part of the supply chain is tracked and traced- from cotton to store. Almost all of our products are made in Bangladesh. Our sustainability practices at Arka Fashion Week helped us save 10,000 kg of carbon being released into the atmosphere. We also have a commitment to plant one tree for every order placed to our store.
Our Process:
Made with upcycled and deadstock fabrics, with complete
traceability of the fabric from cotton to store. We adhere to Bluesign and OekoTex Step guidelines for materials, and always use BCI, organic, and recycled sources when possible.
Our factories and artisans are compliant with ISO,
Wrap, Sedex, Accord, Alliance, RSC, Better Work, GOTS, Fair Trade, ZDHC.
We work together to ensure a living wage and high compliant standards.
Our packaging is unique and among the most sustainable in the world, setting the highest standards. We use ZERO plastics in our packaging- our inner bags are made with 100% biodegradable materials. Bury the inner package in the ground and it return to the earth. Our paper packaging is also 100% recyclable.
